Unlike cloud-based video tools, Remuxe processes everything on your local machine. Your videos are decoded, transformed, and re-encoded using your own CPU and GPU. The server only handles authentication, subscription management, and shader program delivery — it never sees your video content.

Remuxe requires a Chromium-based desktop browser with WebCodecs, WebGL 2.0, and WebGPU support.
Safari and Firefox are not supported due to incomplete WebCodecs and WebGPU implementations. Mobile browsers are not supported.
